What is the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal?

The Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT) is an independent arbitral body recognised by the International Basketball Federation and established for the swift and simple resolution of disputes between players, agents, coaches and clubs. Its standing is established in Chapter 10 of Book 3 of the Internal Regulations, and this document constitutes the Tribunal's own rules of procedure.
