The Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT) is an independent arbitral body recognised by the International Basketball Federation and established for the swift and simple resolution of disputes between players, agents, coaches and clubs. Its standing is established in Chapter 10 of Book 3 of the Internal Regulations, and this document constitutes the Tribunal's own rules of procedure.
Every case is governed by the edition of the regulations that was in force at the time the relevant event occurred. For that reason previous editions are not removed from the site and remain available on this page; the current version is accessible from the list of versions at the top of the page.
