Key changes in this editioncompared with the edition of 2 December 2020

1. New article on paymentsAll amounts claimed by the IHF are net, and bank charges are borne by the payer so that the full amount reaches the world federation. This rule governs all payments and all amounts set out in the IHF regulations, unless a contract provides otherwise.
2. Increased daily allowance for Council membersThe daily allowance for other expenses has risen from CHF 250 to CHF 350 for Council members; for other IHF collaborators and guests it remains CHF 100.
3. New allowances for staff and expertsIHF staff receive CHF 150 per day on working days and CHF 200 at weekends, rising to CHF 200 and CHF 250 while present at an event venue. IHF experts and members of the Rules of the Game Working Group receive CHF 150 per day. At senior World Championships, the Olympic Games and Olympic qualification tournaments, the daily allowance is CHF 150 for officials and CHF 175 for referees; at junior and youth World Championships, CHF 125 and CHF 150.
4. Increased per-match fees for refereesReferees' fees at senior World Championships have risen by about a quarter: the preliminary round from 200 to 250, the main round from 250 to 312.5, the quarter-finals from 400 to 500, the semi-finals and final from 500 to 625, the President's Cup from 100 to 125, and placement matches 5 to 12 from 300 to 375 Swiss francs. The figures for the Olympic Games and for junior and youth championships are unchanged.
5. New tables for coaching coursesFor lecturers and experts on IHF coaching education courses, separate tables have been added based on licence level (D, C, B and A), broken down into online, in-person and travel days.
6. Membership fees and transfer fees unchangedAnnual membership fees are untouched, and Iran remains in category A at CHF 3,500 per year, with a fine of CHF 50 for each month of delay. The administrative fee for intercontinental transfers is also unchanged: CHF 150 to the releasing federation and CHF 150 to the IHF for an amateur-to-amateur transfer, and 1,500 plus 1,500 Swiss francs in all other cases.
