The International Handball Federation's Goal Regulations, in force from 21 December 2025.
| In force | 21 December 2025 — adopted by the IHF Council |
| Structure | Chapter XIII, Section B — Technical Regulations |
| Status | Current edition — basis of the IHF Approval Mark |
The regulations of the International Handball Federation (IHF) form a set of numbered chapters headed by the Statutes, each chapter governing one area. This document is Chapter XIII, Section B of that set.
The criteria a handball goal must satisfy in order to qualify for the IHF Approval Mark. The body of the document is short, and the substantive weight rests on fourteen technical appendices, each devoted to one test or specification.
For clubs and federations equipping a hall, the two appendices concerning the stability of the goal and sharp edges are of particular importance from the standpoint of civil liability: the use of an unapproved goal in an incident that injures a player creates a different legal position.
