What this notice clarifies
The International Handball Federation is a signatory to the World Anti-Doping Code and is responsible for implementing the anti-doping programme in indoor, beach and wheelchair handball. This notice explains what personal information the Federation collects from athletes, how it uses that information and with whom it shares it in order to implement that programme.

- Scope of data varies with the athlete's levelThe type of personal information collected depends on the athlete's level or role in the sport; an athlete in a registered testing pool provides more information than an athlete at other levels.
- The notice may be amendedThe Federation may update this notice and, in the event of material changes, will give notice by publishing a revised version on its website and, where necessary, through other channels.
- Position alongside the anti-doping regulationsThe IHF Anti-Doping Regulations, in the edition of 14 February 2025, assign first-instance proceedings to the Anti-Doping Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport; the data collected is processed within that same framework and through the ADAMS system.
