Rouzbeh Vosough Ahmadi

Rouzbeh Vosough Ahmadi is an attorney at law, an arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and a graduate in International Sports Law from ISDE Madrid, Spain — one of the world's foremost institutions in the field. With more than two decades of specialised practice in sports law and dispute resolution, he serves on the judicial and ethics bodies of several international federations and chairs two of them.

International Arbitration

Since 2025 he has been listed as an arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland — the highest authority for the resolution of sports disputes worldwide, whose awards govern proceedings involving international federations, the International Olympic Committee and anti-doping cases. Admission to the list follows a review of professional qualification and independence by the International Council of Arbitration for Sport.

  3. 2025 – present Arbitrator — Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)current Admitted to the list of arbitrators of the world's highest sports dispute resolution authority, in Lausanne, Switzerland.
  4. 2025 – 2029 term Member, Arbitration Commission — Asian Handball Federation (AHF)current Elected by the AHF Congress to the federation's Arbitration Commission for the four-year 2025–2029 term.
  5. 2024 – present Member, Disciplinary Committee — Canada Soccer Federationcurrent Beginning of his service within the judicial structure of Canada Soccer.
  6. 2021 – present Member, Disciplinary Committee — International Volleyball Federation (FIVB)current Adjudication of disciplinary matters arising in world volleyball competitions.
  7. 2019 – 2023 FIFA Pro Bono Counsel A mechanism established by FIFA to guarantee access to fair proceedings for players and coaches of limited means; its counsel are selected by FIFA.
  8. 2017 – 2019 Founder and first Chairperson, Players' Status Committee — Iran Football Federation The body whose establishment gave contractual disputes between players and clubs in Iran a dedicated adjudicatory structure for the first time.
  9. 2015 – 2019 Member, Disciplinary Committee — Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Adjudication of disciplinary cases arising in competitions across the Asian confederation.
