What is this document?
The regulations of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) are divided into seventeen numbered parts, which sit alongside the Constitution and the Code of Ethics. Each article carries its own three-part number — such as 17.1.001 — the first figure of which is the number of the part in question. This document is Part 17 of that body of regulations.
Cycling e-sports: general provisions and the competition platform, equipment, performance verification, event-specific rules, data, and offences particular to this discipline.

- A short initial textThe January 2019 edition is the first text of the UCI Cycling E-Sports Regulations and is far more compressed than the 2026 edition, with a different numbering scheme.
- Before the technical requirements for the platformThe obligations of the platform provider — the prohibition on updates before a race, accuracy to one thousandth of a second, open access to data and independent verification — do not appear in this edition.
Why this edition is published here
Every case is governed by the edition of the regulations that was in force at the time the event occurred. For that reason earlier editions are not removed from the site and remain available on this page; the current version is available from the list of versions at the top of the page.
