The Regulations of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) are divided into seventeen numbered parts, which sit alongside the Constitution and the Code of Ethics. Each article carries its own three-part number — such as 8.4.042 — whose first digit is the number of the part itself. This document is Part 8 of that set.
Indoor cycling, comprising two independent disciplines: artistic cycling, with rules of execution, descriptions of the figures, evaluation and the list of exercises, and cycle-ball.
In artistic cycling, the final score is the result of deducting faults, and the fault-group tables are the basis of any challenge to the judging. For cycle-ball competitions, the new World Cup structure determines the format by which teams reach the knockout stage.
