The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Regulations are divided into seventeen numbered parts, which sit alongside the Constitution and the Code of Ethics. Each article carries its own three-part number — such as 6.1.001 — the first figure of which is the number of the part itself. This document is Part 6bis of that body of regulations.
BMX Freestyle: preliminary provisions, categories and licences, the calendar and the organisation of events, clothing and equipment, the conduct of participants and penalties, and the competitions themselves.
For organisers applying to register a Freestyle event on the UCI calendar, the express statement of "legitimate objectives" as the basis of the decision makes the prospect of challenging a refusal more tangible.
