Preliminary decision of the Disciplinary Appeal Commission in case 2025-1.
| Body | Disciplinary Appeal Commission of the International Judo Federation |
| Case number | 2025-1 |
| Decision | Preliminary decision |
Why this decision is published here
The International Judo Federation publishes its disciplinary decisions, and it is this body of decisions that shows how a rule has been applied in practice — what conduct has been treated as an infringement, what sanction has been considered proportionate, and what reasoning the adjudicating body followed. In preparing a defence in a comparable case, comparison with earlier decisions matters as much as reading the regulations themselves.
The substantive basis of these decisions is the Disciplinary Regulations and the Ethics Regulations of the International Judo Federation, and the procedure derives from the Statutes and the Ethics Committee Procedural Rules — all four documents are available in the international judo regulations section.
